Hey, everyone. I recently got an email from someone who found this site, and it made me remember that it existed. xD I've also realized that by leaving it online, I've been perpetuating some misinformation and spreading outdated links. So, I've come back (Nearly 4 years later, no less) to do a bit of clean-up around here. Mainly regarding the downloads page. For whatever reason, when I made this site, I felt the need to host everything myself rather than link to other websites. So I would go to different places, download the installer files for things like fan games and various programs, and then upload them to Webs and create a download link to that. I guess I thought it would be more convenient this way? I have no idea, but what I failed to realize is that by doing it this way, I was giving out links to old and outdated versions of these programs, and even spreading some misinformation.
I was of a mind to see if it was possible to take down this site entirely, but I'm aware that some people find a bit of the content available here to be useful (Particularly things like the soundtrack downloads and sprites). So, at least for now, I'm going to leave it be.
When I started this website, the basic idea was to create a place where people in the Puzzle League/Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon community could gather to chat about the games, organize matches, find information, and anything else you might want to do. This never came to fruition, likely for a number of reasons, but what little traffic this place got always meant a lot to me.
But now, it seems the days of needing to rely on websites for this sort of thing are over, as more and more people migrate to using Discord. No, I am not starting a Puzzle League Discord... Because one already exists! There are a few, in fact. So if you'd like to join with the community, which is now more active than ever, consider joining one or more of these Discords:
TetrisAttackOnline: https://discord.gg/S4BVzSf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://discord.gg/S4BVzSf
TA Online is about creating a place for Puzzle League fans to play online with each other. They're the guys behind the Panel Attack fan game, which has come a long way and is still getting updates. They even hold tournaments occasionally.
Panel De Pon Discord: https://discord.gg/tDbmvWF" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://discord.gg/tDbmvWF
This server is dedicated to everything Puzzle League. They have a lot of awesome stuff here, such as a partially English-translated version of the Gamecube/Nintendo Puzzle Collection release of Panel De Pon, some otherwise unseen demo ROMs of Puzzle League on the GBA, and a channel dedicated to speedruns of the various Puzzle League games. If you're looking for a place that's less about competition and more about community, this is a great place to be.
Puzzle General Discord: https://discord.gg/MzvYZjK" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://discord.gg/MzvYZjK
From the Discord's Welcome channel: "Welcome to the Puzzle General Discord Server. We serve as a central hub to all kinds of puzzle games and have emerged from from a speedrunning scene."
These guys love PdP, but act as more of a general hub for all discussion of puzzle games, from Dr. Mario to Puyo Puyo to Tetris to Bust-A-Move, and more. These guys also stream a lot on Twitch, where they commonly host tournaments and other puzzle gaming content. This place is great for Puzzle League fans, and even better if you love other puzzle games like Wario's Woods or Puyo Puyo Tetris.
Super Plexis Discord: https://discord.gg/rqDrbEa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://discord.gg/rqDrbEa
I would be remiss not to post this one... Super Plexis is a Puzzle League-style game that is more of a spiritual successor than a fan game. The game is being made by Medley Studios, and will soon have versions for iOS, Android, and Steam/PC. It's got a beta available on iOS right now that is really good, in my opinion. I'm very active in this Discord and I have a lot of faith in the dev team, so I would suggest looking into this one!
Hope to see some new faces in the community soon. I'm sure there are many out there who only know about this site and have no idea that the community has moves to Discord (I didn't; I only learned about all of these Discords thanks to Super Plexis, personally). For that reason alone, I hope that I can do my part to help foster this community by making this post.
As for my part, I've been focusing most of my attention on content creation. If you want to see more of my own stuff, I play a lot of simulation, RPG, and puzzle games at https://www.youtube.com/BusterTheFox" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">youtube.com/BusterTheFox. I've also started streaming at https://mixer.com/BusterTheFox" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://mixer.com/BusterTheFox. I sometimes do speedruns of Pokémon Puzzle Challenge there. And of course, here's my own personal Discord link: https://discord.gg/vKuh6d4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://discord.gg/vKuh6d4
That's it. Thanks everyone for the help you gave to this website, however small it may have been. Now I'm off to update the homepage... And maybe switch to a brighter template. This white text on blakc background thing is boring and makes my eyes hurt. xD
...By the way, if you're looking to make your own website, don't use Webs. They've not been the greatest for me. I would recommend Wix if you REALLY want to make your own site for whatever reason.

Heyo. It's been a while, so I'm here to say a few things!
First of all, TetrisAttack.net is still dead. Just checked back a few minutes ago, latest activity on the site is still from July of 2013. That is now saying something, as we are now approaching 2015. A bit strange, really, I wonder what made them wanna ditch the forums and stuff in the first place? They had mentioned spam bot problems they've had in the past... Still, it really is a shame.
On that note, I wish I could offer the community something better than a silly Webs site like this. I realize it's not much. But darn it, it's what I've got access to! I know a teeny bit of HTML, but not enough to emulate what this site can do for me (specifically the forums and blog setups). And even if I could get some solution for that, it sure wouldn't look pretty. Probably black text centered on a white background with pretty much just a few links at the top. I at least know how to do images and the like. Whatever, the point is, I'm not capable of it, and I don't plan to learn HTML any further at any point in the forseeable future, so... Yeah. Although I hear it's not hard to install a Wordpress forum on a website, and I could use Disqus for comments on Blog posts, but I am not sure exactly if there's any public domain website software for blog posts. xD
Finally, I cannot BELIEVE I used Rich Text files for the info files. What was I thinking?? And then one of them is a .zip file just because I found some images with passwords on them, and I didn't feel like taking the time to fill out a table, so I just stuck it in there... Just... We need a better solution.
On that note, I think it would be best to make a general Puzzle League Wiki, and then have it be quietly maintained by PLH (Rather than saying "THIS IS THE INFO PAGES AT PUZZLE LEAGE HEAVEN"). However, I'm currently having a very hard time in college, and I have a number of other responsibilities in real life now, more than I've ever had recurring weekly at the same time. Sunday is watching the nephew half the day (plus driving him around thanks to church), Monday is school from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday I'm a leader in an after school program that takes itself VERY seriously, Wednesday is school till 5 again, plus I play in the Wednesday night church worship band until something like 8:30 (So I basically get to do nothing for myself on Wednesdays), Thursday is the one day where I don't do anything, and therefore I tend to have to schedule any appointments on that day, so I still don't always get the day free, Friday is school, though only the first class today, which gets off at 1:25 PM, and saturday night I have to go to my sister's house to sleep over so I can be there in the morning to watch the nephew on Sunday. Note that I'm getting $25 a week for watching the nephew, too.
So yeah, I kinda swamped myself. I'm under a lot of stress, and my personal projects have had very little attention from me lately as a result. I tend to play video games all day in my spare time to unwind. I couldn't even BEGIN to tell you how highly enchanted all of my full diamond equipment is in Minecraft right now. LOL! True story, too. for those in the know, look up how to make an Enderman XP farm in The End... Totally worth it.
Oh, um, what I was trying to say by all that is that if I were to set up said wiki, I know for a fact I would have to be the one to fill out all the pages, add all the videos and images, etc., since nobody else is very likely to help out, and I ABSOLUTELY do not have time for that. Heck, I still haven't gotten around to updating my Underdog Creations wiki. I haven't touched it in a VERY long time now. My YouTube channel is being neglected, as well. Oh, and not to mention I have to keep track of the stuff I'm selling on eBay to help out my family. I'll be getting a lot of money for what I'm selling hopefully, and I'm not going to be able to keep any of it, haha! I mean, I could, but the entire reason I listed it was to help them out. I'll spare you any other details, as I've noticed I may be rambling on just a little bit. Though I guess my life's current state is a long story at the moment, so it makes sense.
Anyone who sees this, PLEASE comment! I'd like to know if people still like this game... I don't even play it much anymore, but I like it enough to think it at least deserves a website. Just... a more decent one than this. And one in English. Even Meteos has a Wiki, and while I realize that's a super-fun game in its own right, made by the creator of Super Smash Bros. and everything, a puzzle game's a puzzle game... I dunno, I'm starting to confuse myself. That's my queue to end this off! Enjoy the awesome and organized downloads page, and stay away from those RTF files, they are full of misinformation...

I just finished rebuilding the Downloads page. It's a much more effecient and eye-pleasing design now. Along with that, I've changed up how I host the majority of the stuff.
First of all, I'm now linking directly to official websites for anything that has one. This means I won't be hosting outdated versions of 7-Zip or Block Attack or whatever. Plus, those sites tend to have download links for all supported OSes already too, so there's that. It also helps me to save space in my actual Webs account (They only give you, like, 75 MB of storage on a free account).
For larger files like Panepon Harmony and the Pokemon Puzzle League soundtrack, I've begun hosting them on MediaFire. After all, MediaFire is much more reliable and lets me have much more storage space (10 GB) than Dropbox (~4 GB), which has been very strange for me lately (Uploads taking eons to complete, inaccurate upload speeds, etc.).
So yeah, I've got a pretty darn good solution for keeping my downloads organized from now on. Oh, and before I forget, I removed a few things that were redundant and also added links to all the sprite sheets I could find lying around.
As I mentioned above, I finally added Panepon Harmony, but I have yet to get the PDF manuals uploaded. I'm not entirely sure if I want those on the downloads page... I'd rather have links to them on the Game Info pages. But we all know the status of the game info pages, and it won't likely change anytime soon without me paying some money that I don't have. D: But I am about to do a little one-off job for some cash, so... I guess whether I use that to buy a premie depends on how much I get from it. We'll see, I suppose. I really wish I could have, like, just a one week trial so I can set everything up and make sure it would really be worth it to me. But, alas. They don't offer a free trial. Not that I know of, anyway.
So now that the Downloads page is cleaned up and the theme is less eye-burning, I suppose it's time to look at what else needs refreshing. I think the blurb on the home page could use a rewrite. Maybe I can re-organize the forum categories or something.
On that note, what is your opinion on using Wikia for the Game Info pages temporarily?
- We finally get the pages
- It's an actual wiki, so anyone can edit in new information and edit out misinformation
- It allows for easy storage of videos and photos (That would mean I could get rid of two excess pages cluttering up the site)
- It could serve as a general Puzzle Leage/Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon wiki, as one does not yet exist. Comparable to Mario wiki or the like.
- It's an external site. Not only do I not want the info pages to be separate from PLH itself, it also means users will have to create a new account separate from the one you can make here. There won't be any integration.
- It'll be hard to link back and fourth between the site and the wiki. Sure, I can place links in the topbars and all, but the topbar won't remain consistant like I would want it to.
- Speaking of consistancy, Wikia uses a white-colored theme, whereas I am using a dark-colored them. xD Even if I switched to a different one, they wouldn't match.
As far as what I would like to do, I refer you to the setup Serebii.net has. They're a Pokemon fan site. If you go there, you can see how they have their pages layed out. I'd like to set up our pages like that, only in a wiki format since Puzzle League doesn't have any kind of "main info hub" currently. In Pokemon's case, we have Bulbapedia, the official POkemon website, and countless more Pokemon websites where you can read about different aspects of the series, but, as I've said, Puzzle League doesn't have that. It's what I aim to create, though! The series deserves at least a decent wiki, doesn't it?

I came here on one of my approx. monthly checkups to see if anyone had left any messages. Nobody had, so I started reading my latest blog post. It started off talking about eye-strain, and boy was it right. So I've immediately logged into my account and changed the theme. It doesn't quite get the point of the website across, but at least it's got a colorful header image.
Also speaking of the last update, I still haven't uploaded those files I was talking about earlier. So, I'm going to see if I can do that after I post this blog entry. To be specific, I would want to post PDF format manuals for all of the games, plus the official Panel de Pon Harmony soundtrack (For now I'm only going to post the "High Quality" ones, but I'll post a link to the page where you can get the lower-quality ones for those of you with limited bandwidth or slow connections).
It's already pretty late as I type this, and it will likely be even later once I get those uploads done, but I might try and re-organize the site a bit more after that. Still not sure what exactly I want to do, though. I wouldn't like having to use an external site like Wikia for the Game pages, but I really do want to do those in a wiki format. Well, I'll think of something. Meanwhile, feel free to peruse the no-longer-eye-burning website to your heart's content. Haha!
EDIT: Er, Webs seems to have updated how it handles direct links to files, and the majority of the download links are no longer working. For now, right-click and choose "Save As..." to download the files. Anyway, unfortunately the downloads will have to wait until I get this sorted out. Hopefully it won't be too tough to fix. Sigh... I may just have to change hosts soon, lol. Webs has not been treating me very well.

Staring at this new background for too long (A few seconds) makes my eyes hurt. Also, I was on the home page, then I clicked Content (Which is kind of an ambiguous thing to have in the nearly-invisible hotbar). I barely even noticed the page has changed because the layout is exactly the same. Before I clicked on the link, I read the blurb about the site on the home page. It was kinda boring and really bland and didn't actually say much about the site and why it exists.
Later on, I looked through my downloads. I have a file that claims to be a Panel de POn "Sprite Pack", but it can hardly be considered that. It actually only has the background portrait images of all the different characters in it. There are no panel sprites, so sprites of Lip walking on that rainbow trail, nothing like that. Oh, and LIPS, I believe, is a Windows-only program. If not, I've failed to provide Mac OSX and Linux builds of the program. I've always strived (Strove? Stroven? I have no idea) to have compatibility with all OSes with my downloads where possible, but I seem to have gotten lazy at some point.
Then, I looked through some of the photos and screenshots and found that in a Nintendo Puzzle Collection photo, I referred to Furil as Lip. I'm pretty sure that's wrong (Lip and Furil are different characters, right? Right).
So anyhow, I've let this place slip. Big time. Took me a while to come back and notice it. Also, it really is seriously important for me to get those information pages up. I need to do some more research of my own; I recenlty found out that there were originally plans to release Nintendo Puzzle Collection stateside, but it got cancelled. I even managed to track down what might have been the English-language box art (I'm not sure if it's official or a mock-up, but it looks really cool and has some sort of text under the title. The image is super tiny though, so I can't make it out). In any case, it's not a big deal at the moment. I'll get it uploaded soon enough, though!
I've also been collecting PDF files of all of the game's manuals. Currently, I have all of the English-language game manuals in my possesion. I'm hoping to be able to get the Japanese ones at some point, but since this is an English-language website, I assume not many people will get use out of them (Unless a Japanese-speaking fan happens upon this place and wants to take a look at them). I'll get them eventually, but for now I'll be uploading the English-language ones I've tracked down.
Finally, I've come across a "Panel de Pon Remastered" official soundtrack, downloadable for free from the official website, although only one track at a time. They offer both low and high quality versions of each track, so I've downloaded both versions of each track and put them into separate .zip folders, which I will later get up on the downloads page along with those manuals and other things.
But first, I'm going to take a little while to change up Puzzle League Heaven. I'll start by reverting to a default site layout and then I'll try to make this place recognizable as the PdP/TA/PL fan site that it is without the painful background. Later on I'll get a new (More subdued) PdP-themed background image for the site. It may not come as a surprise to anyone, but I actually made this BG myself by taking the blocks out of a Nintendo Puzzle Collection screenshot and tiling them by hand in Paint... The result KINDA works, but it's not fun to stare at for a long time as you browse the site...
While I'm doing said cleanup, I'll do my best to re-organize my pages and, best case scenario, I can finally get the information pages back up. I've done a page clean-up before though, and I don't want to sacrifice the Photos and Screenshots section, among other things. I don't care much for the videos section at current as it doesn't really provide anything worthwhile to the site aside from that one Planet Puzzle League trailer, which isn't very interesting anyway. It's not so hard to find that kind of thing on YouTube. On that note, it's not tough to find screenshots or box art on Google, either. If I get the info pages up, I'll be wanting to post box art and screenshots there anyway, so maybe I can let that one go, too. I just wish Webs hadn't removed their old Wiki page app... That's the only reason we don't have legit pages up right now even though we did before. :<
In more other news, Tetrisattack.org has shut down their forums due to a spam bot problem (Back in July of 2013). They haven't posted any updates on their front page blog since then. I was able to leave a comment on said blog post in an attempt to get into contact with someone from over there, but I'm not expecting much. While I'm going to keep on checking back to see if there's anything new, for now I'm going to assume that the place has effectively gone offline, leaving me as the only TA fan site left.
So to be honest, I was going there planning to request that I merge my projects (Compiling things like translation patches, fan games and manuals as I have been as well as writing in-depth articles about the games, their history, Etc.) into their site. This is because, a. They've been around for longer than I have, and they've even held real-life tournaments at the PAX convention over the years, so they totally have seniority over me. Not only that, most of them actually came from the now-defunct tetrisattack.net, so these people have been around since WAY before I got myself involved. and b. This series has such a small and rather inactive following as it is. For a while I thought it would be fine to just have us co-exist in a way, knowing the other is there but never really interacting. I think that did more harm than good, creating some kind of unseen tension and dividing the already-miniscule fan base between us (LOL not that I really have many members here, but, well, I have a few I guess... thanks for being here, guys). I was pretty disheartened when I saw that the forums had gone offline and that the last that had been heard from the TA.org gang had been months ago.
I'm considering removing the Members feature of the site, and, by extention, the forums. IIRC, you don't need to be signed into an account in order to comment on these blogs posts, so at least there will be that. And, instead of a Contact Us page (Lol contact US? Should say Contact Me), I'll probably just stick something like, "Wanna get in touch? Email me at [email protected]" (sponser!) in the site's footer so that I don't have to waste a valuable page on it.
Although, even removing all those pages probably won't make room for all the games in the series to fit within the darn page limit... At the same time, it feels strange to re-write whatever you could find in the Wikipedia articles for any respective game. Only differences I would make would be something like linking up to the Panel de Pon translation patch on its page and maybe having a screenshot of the translated title screen.
MEEEEEH. This kinda sucks. I just want this series to have a decent site where English-speaking fans can go to get information and other goodies relating to the series! It doesn't even need to have an even semi-active forum, just so long as it educates people about the games and their respective histories while providing resources like the translation patch I keep on mentioning (I love that thing... haha. Not that you really need to come here to find it, it's probably on most emulation sites that host that type o thing by now)... I'm tired. Time to publish this long-winded post and brainstorm how I can make this place the best it can be. Is it worth buying a one-year membership? I could test out having a real domain name and having all of the information pages up along with not having to sacrifice the forums or anyting like that. Maybe I'll start saving up... I don't know. I'd rather have it in wiki format than a bunch of boring pages that look the same that only I can edit. But then, once again, we have Wikipedia for that. Gah! So many tough things for me to think about.
Very tired and a bit stressed out,
(But I'll be fine after a good night's sleep!)

Today I decided to come back here and take a look at what I can do to improve this place a bit (Short of throwing a lot of money at Webs to get them to let me do anything easily). I was quickly reminded of how eye-burning the new skin is and also how hard it was to read the navigation bar at the top of the site. So I went searching through the rainbow to find the perfect color to offset the background. It was white before, but now it's yellow. I think it looks better than it did before. Just so happens that yellow is pretty much the only distinct color I can use that doesn't blend with some part of the background image. :< Anyway, I hope it's easier to read for everyone, now.
I know I promised I would buy myself a premium membership for this place a lot sooner, but real life got in the way, as expected. I just ordered my gaming computer (At last!), but now I have to save up for multiple other things that have popped up (Like my brother's bachelor party and, of course, more PC games for my new computer. Kidding. That'll be seperate). In any case, it seems that once I get all of these things sorted out, I should be able to finally save up a special fund for getting this place in order. Then I'll finally be able to update and make seperate pages for each and every game in the series.
In other news, I've recently been looking a bit more into the localizations of the games in the series. I touch on this subject breifly in the information docs I have available for download while we wait for legit webspace for the information, but one of the biggest problems the series faces right now is that nobody knows what it is. even the Super Smash Bros. series hasn't answered many questions about it, which it has for so many other games. For instance, there's the item Lip's Stick. It's the magical wand that Lip, the protagonist from the original Panel de Pon, uses. While SSB cites the item as being from the "Panel de Pon" series, nobody in America (or anyone outside of Japan, period) knows what that is. At least, as far as the masses are concerned. Most people here in America seem to know the series by the names of either Tetris Attack, or Pokemon Puzzle League. those who associate it with Tetris Attack have a tendancy to be unaware there are other games in the series since there have been no other games (Besides the Game Boy port) that used that name. Making the transition to the N64, the name was changed to Pokemon Puzzle League. Most people associated with this name know it because of the Pokemon part of the title rather than the "Puzzle League" part of it. On top of that, anyone who has played through a Pokemon game would know of the original namesake, the Pokemon League, which is essentially where the last boss of each game lies in wait. With that in mind, even people who have played Pokemon Puzzle League may not recognize the GBA Puzzle League or Planet Puzzle League as the same game at all at first glance (Because it does not feature Pokemon).
Speaking of which, the Game Boy Advance Dr. Mario + Puzzle League wasn't that great of a seller, either. Looking back, it seems like Nintendo must have anticipated a bad turn-out by the fact that they released Dr. Mario with it as a bundle. As a result, Dr. Mario kind of became the main selling point, and once again, Puzzle League was pretty much lost on players along the way. It probably also didn't help that this particular iteration of the series pretty much a bear minimum version of the game, with very few unlockables and other things. Of course, that's just my opinion right there, and there are plenty of great things about this game that make it awesome. It's personally also my favorite game in the series as of right now. But I'm not writing a reveiw about this one game right now.
Speaking of which, here I am writing an article about the series before I even realized it. Haha! I guess I should end up with a solution to the problem, then.
I suppose if I were in the shoes of Intelligent Systems, I would release a "Puzzle League Collection" on the 3DS or Wii U with a few select games in the series. Of course, that might not be a perfect idea since there would be copyright issues with both Yoshi and Pokemon. But Intelligent System and The Pokemon Company are both second party subsidiaries of Nintendo; it could work. Basically, it would include a (translated) Panel de Pon, Tetris Attack (SNES and GB), Pokemon Puzzle League, Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, and the Game Boy Advance Puzzle League. The game would have something like a "museum" mode where it would explain the history of each game, the reasoning behind each name change, and, most importanty, it would introduce Panel de Pon to English-speaking audiences while confirming with fans of the series that not only are all the games in the same series, but the current name is now "Puzzle League". Then, in the next Smash Bros. game, they could change any reference to "Panel de Pon" to "Puzzle League". And even if they didn't, players would know what game Panel de Pon was thanks to it having been included in the collection.
...I guess that's all wishful thinking, though. Hey, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems! If you ever happen to see this, you may use this idea free of charge and without any kind of attribution. Or, hey! Just release the games on the virtual Console! Although there's the trouble with the Tetris Attack name, too... Which is probably why it hasn't been released yet already. But jeez, just release Panel de Pon at least! XD People need to know what they're dealing with when it comes to this series... And Intelligent Systems seems to have abandoned it (Along with Advance Wars...) for Fire Emblem and Paper Mario... Wait, did they make Super Paper Mario or Sticker Star? I should look that up. If they weren't behind those... Well, either way, they technically shouldn't be working on anything right now. Maybe a new 3DS Advance Wars or Puzzle LEague is on the way... *Sigh...*

If you're reading this, you've probably noticed that I've finally changed up the site's look and feel. We now have a much lighter-colored skin than before, and we even have blocks in the background! It took me a bit of meticulous work to make that tiled background, but it only took about five minutes to do, and it was totally worth it. Mind you, I'm still making small tweaks to it (for instance, right now, a few pieces of text that are directly on the new BG are a bit hard to read), so if something looks off to you, or if this whole thing is mind-bendingly eye burning, please let me know so I can make it look better!
I'm hoping that this theme change will help keep people interested in the site when they find it. Mainly, I think having the blocks in the background will really help people understand what we're all about. Also, I want to let the people who know about this site already to know that I've never abandoned it. I'm still looking forward to working with the site and I hope I can get some sort of a Puzzle League/Tetris Attack community started again.
Oh, also, this emoticon looks less strange now, yay!:

I've noticed that the news feed here is turning more and more into my own personal blog. ;p Not that there's much going on in the Puzzle League world of late. I'm glad I was able to spot that Game Informer mention, but that's really nothing big. At least it;s something, though.
Anyway, I got Tetris Attack for the Gameboy since the last update. I used to think it was incredibly tough, but playing it on a real Gameboy Color made all the difference. It does a much better job of separating the block colors than an emulator does, which makes it much easier to find chains and such.
As for Puzzle Challenge, I'm, in a way, breezing through Insane Mode. I still haven't beaten it, but that's because I keep on restarting when I get to the Elite Four so I can try to get all of the unlockable Trainer Pokémon. >_> It doesn't help that you only get one chance at them at a time. :< I also messed around with Line Clear mode a bit; It's pretty easy stuff, but it's all about speed with that mode. Not that there's much to compare it to, so I just go about it casually. Maybe someday, when I get online ranking stuff working, I'll include Line Clear times for everything. xD
As for the status of the site, we're still empty as ever. I just barely haven't managed to gather enough interest in the tourney to get it all started. I'm not sure what else to do right now, though. At the moment, the next step is simply to save up my money and buy some extra webspace for PLH so I can expand the Game Information stuff to be on separate pages. I also have to re-write those things, some of the info is a bit off. >_< But I can't find the drive to do it as it is now. I hate to have to make it all as downloadable .RTF files.
Ah, as for money, I actually managed to break away from eBay like I said I would. Right now, my main priority is saving up for a new computer. After that, it's all pretty much up in the air. It'll be a fight between games on Steam, 3DS and Wii U, mostly. :3 Other than PLH, I don't have any other things I really need to save up for. And I've been doing pretty darn good at saving up, too! I just mentioned a Wii U, right? xD I saved up for it, and now I have it!
Another thing, though, is that now that the holidays are over, I'm getting next to no hours at work. Looks like they won't be letting me go, and I just got my discount card too, so I should count my blessings. But from now until I start getting more hours, I'm going to latch onto all of my free cash like it's my life. xD No more fast food for a while!!! I'll need it all for gas money, I bet. Not that I'll be doing much driving for all the hours I'm getting. But hey, more free time to work on my hobby projects! Maybe I'll spend some time figuring out some solutions for this place.
If anyone reads this, give me a sign! xD You can leave a comment without logging in if you don't mind filling out a captcha to do so. Anyone else out there have a 3DS and/or Wii U? Send me your Freind Codes and such!
And with that, peace, everyone. Keep on puzzlin'~
EDIT: Stupid Webs text fields not letting me use Google Chrome's auto-spellcheck... Let me know if you see any typos, either in these blog posts or anywhere around the site! Even a simple grammar error. I make mistakes sometimes, I won't get mad or anything. xD I hate having incorrect spelling/grammar in things.

So, I'm back once again just to let you know that I'm not dead. I check up on this place at LEAST once a week, and usually I try to check in more often than that. But, as expected, there hasn't been much activity. As for my job, it's going pretty well; I'm getting more hours lately, so that's good. Although most of it has gone to gas... and eBay.
Let's see, what all have I bought on eBay already...
Pokémon Yellow Version
Monster Rancher Battle Card GB
A new battery cover for my Gameboy Color...
A light/magnifying glass add-on for said Gameboy...
Tetris Attack GB
Pokémon Puzzle Challenge
A little Mr. Saturn fridge magnet from the game Earthbound
and a handheld game called Skannerz Commander.
What can I say? I like my Gameboy games.
No wonder I can't save any money, though. x'D But actually, I've bought everything I've been wanting so far, so I should be breaking from the magical world of eBay for a while. I still want to get this place a real URL and everything, but I suck at money so far. I'm getting used to it, though. Plus, Christmas gifts...
Enough about that, though, I got Pokémon Puzzle Challenge~! My personal favorite of all the games. My best chain is already at 8, and I've beaten Super-Hard mode... Now I just gotta beat Insane mode, unlock all of the extra Pokémon, and beat the Puzzle/Line Clear Modes, and I'm done with it already... Although, I always sucked at Puzzle Mode. So we'll see. I haven't gotten TAGB yet, though, it's running pretty late in delivery...
Anyway, I have Puzzle Challenge now. I guess that's the big thing. I'm still saving for a new computer and such, so I still don't have enough free cash to buy this place some shiny new stuff. But, someday, someday. ;p Hopefully sooner, but, you know.
So I guess this update was pretty boring. Sorry. xD Feel free to use the "Contact Us" link at the top there to contact me via e-mail if you ever wanna play an online game. I have online TA set up via Hamachi, and I also have Planet Puzzle League. Or, you can contact me for any other reason!
'Till next time,
EDIT: By the way, August 14th was PLH's second birthday!! Happy birthday, PLH!! YA~Y!! xD

It wasn't a Micro Update, so it deserved a new post.
A few updates today. First of all, I updated our Netplay topic on the forum to include a link from TetrisAttack.org on how to set up Tetris Attack for online play using Hamachi. That's probably the best way to play the game online with someone.
Secondly, as anyone who has been keeping up with the news posts around here probably knows, there's not a whole lot I can do around here until I gather up the cash to buy us a premium package thingy. Then we'll become PuzzleLeague.net and get all of the game info on separate pages! The game info has been in dire need of being updated for a while now, but I just can't find the drive to do so with the format it's in right now. :'(
Anyway, I hope I'm not dashing anyone's hopes, but even though I have a job now, it's gonna be a while before I can get this place running properly. I have a few needs (mainly, a new computer) that take higher priority than buying a membership right now, so it could end up being a little while before we get the ball rolling.
But Christmas is right around the corner, so if anyone feels the spirit of giving and wants to help out, by all means, please do.
Heheh, anyway, I've also been trying to re-connect with the guys at TetrisAttack.net recently. I figured we should at least keep in contact in some way; I'm even hoping to be at the next tourney they'll be holding at the PAX convention next year. Not sure if I can gather the money to fly over there and buy tickets, but I'll do my best to try. It would be nothing short of awesome to meet the rest of the big guys in the Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon / Puzzle League fandom world.
Anyway, I've had some contact with one Tektonikk, and he seems willing enough to collaborate. He even made an account here at PLH, so I've gotta give a huge shoutout to him. Thanks!
Finally, in case you hadn't heard yet, the PLH Grand Opening Cup is back open for business! We have at least two people who are willing to participate, and at least one more hopeful; our goal is to have at least four participants, and we even have a pretty cool prize (predictable as it is), so if you have a 3/DS that can connect to Wi-Fi and a copy of Planet Puzzle League, we'd love to let you in on the action! You can find details at the forum in the tournaments category; it should be pretty easy to find.
Well, keep on chuggin', everyone! I'll keep at it, so don't think we're going anywhere! ^_^
